This is the story of the prophet Daniel. He was a young man when he was taken away captive to Babylon where he became a counselor to the King. Well-known for his great wisdom, bravery, and faithfulness, he did what was right. He refused to pray to idols, he worshiped the Lord. He was thrown into a pit with lions but our Lord God rescued him.
